  • Ruth Rodgers

    Ruth spent most of her adult years believing that she had a handle on fitness. That is, until she was introduced to CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. Her first workout left her sore, humbled, and wanting to learn more.

    She first discovered her love for training when she was assigned to the Physical Training/Arrest and Control Unit at the Los Angeles Police Academy. Seeing people strive to be their best every day and pushing the envelop was so inspiring she decided to do it full time. She later received her CrossFit Level 1 certification, then passed the Level 2 Certification back in 2009, and achieved her Certified CrossFit Level 4 Coach in 2017.

    Ruth’s pre-children hobbies included rock climbing, surfing, and 3-Gun Competitions, but lately her free time is spent playing with her 2 children, sewing, playing guitar, and training her dog Just as she thought, CrossFit has exponentially improved her performance in all the above activities.

    Aside from baby elephants, puppies, and a perfect pour over, nothing brings a tear to her eyes like seeing people achieve Personal Records: be it a strict pull-up, a 2x body weight deadlift, or the mental victory of knowing they can push themselves much harder than ever before.

  • Sean Rodgers

    Sean’s exploration of movement and fitness began at an early age playing a wide array of sports including soccer, basketball, and football. His athletic prowess afforded him the opportunity to play and coach collegiate football at the United States Air Force Academy and the honor of playing on a team ranked as high as 15th in national polls. Thanks to his football endeavors and knowledgeable strength coaches, Sean has an eclectic background in sports, strength, and competition. His training background also includes being a Physical Training Leader in the United States Air Force for six years. Sean is honored to be in a position helping others achieve their health, fitness, and sports goals and has been doing so since 2009.

    Sean holds a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis on Counseling and Human Development from the United States Air Force Academy, and a M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University.

  • Elizabeth Winters

    Liz is a CF-L1 Coach, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and BIRTHFIT Regional Director. She is passionate about making fitness and healthy eating accessible and fun for anyone.

    Liz first discovered crossfit in 2012 and instantly fell in love with functional fitness and the community spirit that crossfit cultivates. She quickly knew that she wanted to help others feel strong and empowered in their fitness routine, so in 2016 she earned her CF-L1 certificate.

    Outside the gym, Liz is a busy mom of a joyful toddler, constantly tackling new house and life projects with her husband, and working with amazing clients in prenatal and postpartum wellness.
